We really need to get busy naming these guys (or girls). They have been part of our classroom for a month and still do not have names. We will brainstorm names and power vote to select the top choices this week. It's fun to have classroom pets! Each week one of the kids is responsible for feeding them. The orange one always acts ravenous!

Our Class Pets....Who are yet to have names!
We really need to get busy naming these guys (or girls). They have been part of our classroom for a month and still do not have names. We will brainstorm names and power vote to select the top choices this week. It's fun to have classroom pets! Each week one of the kids is responsible for feeding them. Have you heard of the Pets in the Classroom grant? Check out the website www.PetsintheClassroom.org. It is a grant program that provides up to $150 to K-6th grade teachers for the purpose of purchasing a classroom pet and/or pet supplies. It's really easy to apply for and you hear back within a week as to if you will receive it.
